Project Windsurf-UK, a brand new initiative dedicated to windsurfers across the country, was officially launched last weekend (3-4 September) at the National Windsurfing Festival at Hayling Island.
The initiative, created by the RYA, aims to promote windsurfing clubs & groups in the UK, and link individual windsurfers with these groups, encouraging more people go windsurfing more often, linked with the added social aspect of the club/group environment.
After a day of mucking around on surf boards and snorkelling, today was our last chance to get out on the water before we return.
The group split into two for the days sailing.

Tiree trip has been brilliant so far with excellent conditions to keep all ability levels happy. Flat water blasting and mushy waves. Here are a few of the first photos, more to follow later.
Online Tickets are now on sale for the National Windsurf Festival. The event is the largest Windsurfing event in the UK and is geared at free-ride sailors.
