Trent Windsurfing Club is one of the East Midlands’ most welcoming and active watersports clubs, offering windsurfing, wing foiling, wind foiling and stand-up paddleboarding in a friendly, supportive environment. Based at Long Eaton, just minutes from Junction 24 of the M1, the club is ideally located for members from Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and the surrounding areas.
Whether you’re stepping onto a board for the first time or you’re an experienced rider looking for regular sailing, you’ll find a vibrant community of like-minded people who enjoy getting out on the water throughout the year. The club is open every day from dawn until dusk, with no closed season, so there’s always an opportunity to make the most of the wind.
Our RYA-qualified instructors run regular beginner and intermediate training courses, while members benefit from access to a wide range of club equipment, including windsurfing, wing foiling and paddleboarding kit. We also provide coaching sessions to help members develop their skills and confidence.
Beyond the water, Trent Windsurfing Club has a thriving social scene. From summer barbecues and club gatherings to UK and overseas windsurfing trips, there’s plenty of opportunity to make new friends and explore new sailing venues together.
The club is run by volunteers for the benefit of its members, creating an affordable and accessible place to enjoy wind-powered watersports. From beginners to experienced sailors, members can take advantage of the club’s facilities, training and regular sailing opportunities throughout the year.
